Bernard Buffet (1928-1999) was born in Paris, France, Chevalier de la Lgion dhonneur. Painter of Expressionism and a member of tLhomme Tmoin anti-abstract art group. He created more than 8000 paintings and prints. His artworks are in many Museums worldwide; in 1973, the Bernard Buffet 1st Museum was founded in Surugadaira, Japan.
