A large Lladro glazed porcelain figurine titled Moses, model number 5170, designed by sculptor Francisco Catala. The sculpture depicts the biblical prophet in a commanding stance, holding the two stone tablets of the Ten Commandments in his right hand while gesturing toward the heavens with his raised left hand. The figure is draped in a flowing grayish-blue cloak over a white tunic, exhibiting the classic muted tones and high-gloss finish characteristic of the factory. The underside bears the blue underglaze Lladro bellflower mark, LLADR?"® / HAND MADE IN SPAIN, and the copyright © DAISA 1982, along with impressed marks G-3 J and 22. Height: 16.5 inches.
