Description

A blue broadcloth commercial-style sack coat with brass G.A.R. buttons, a round G.A.R. membership stud in the left lapel, marked "Johnson" inside the pocket, red stripped cotton sleeve lining, and a green wool/silk lining.Note: Inside the pocket is an envelope to Mrs. J.C. Johnson in Philadelphia with what looks like wilted flowers, and an image of an older man and woman.

Condition

Has some wear from age, use, and a few minor moth nips, but in overall good condition.
