19th Century, a traditional cherry wood chest of drawers featuring a two-over-three configuration of graduated long drawers. The construction highlights rich, figured grain with delicate scratch-beaded borders on each drawer front. The carcass is flanked by elegant reeded posts, terminating in turned tapering feet. The cherry turned knobs are a later, sympathetic addition. Measures approximately 46 1/2'' H x 42'' W x 21 3/4'' D. Overall in good, stable condition; the finish exhibits minor surface scuffs, abrasions, and honest wear consistent with age and domestic use.
