Created by French artists Yvonne Kleiss-Herzig (1895–1968) and Henri Kleiss (1895–1983), known for their Orientalist works inspired by their travels throughout North Africa and their depictions of local life. The composition features crisp outlines and flat planes of color. Signed “Yvonne et Henri Kleiss-Herzig” in the lower right. Housed in a gilt wood frame. Measures approximately 15 1/4" H x 19 1/4" W. Good condition with a small amount of discoloration consistent with age.
