Print of the photograph titled Ballfield by street photographer Fred Stein (1909–1967), a German-Jewish lawyer who fled Nazi Germany to Paris and later New York. The original image was taken in 1946 and depicts a boy swinging a baseball bat in a New York park. The lower margin displays the edition number and the inscription “Ballfield New York 1946.” The reverse reads: “Estate of Fred Stein Print No. 19/350 Authorized Estate Print (C) 1994 by Paul Stein.” Housed in a black frame. Measures approximately 20 1/4" H x 16 1/4" W. Good condition with light wear to the frame.
