Two framed pages featuring hand-colored copperplate engravings of 18th century coats of arms, including Sir Daniel Fleming of Rydal Hall with the motto PAX COPLA SAPIENTIA, Bevill Skelton, Thomas Mariet of Whitchurch, and Walter Chetwynd of Ingestre. The second page includes the coats of arms of Francis Dive of Bromham with the motto JAY ESPERE MEIUX AVOIR, Owen Feltham of Gray's Inn with the motto PORTANTI SPOLIA PALMA, Francis Wythens of Eltham with the motto NEC TIMEO NEC SPERNO, and Iames Hoare of Edmonton. Each coat of arms is surmounted by a knight's helmet with an animal head crest. Housed in a giltwood frame. Measures approximately 22 3/4″ H x 29 3/4″ W. Good condition.
