Plate 6 from Sweert’s renowned Florilegium, beautifully illustrating several species of crocus and dog’s tooth violet, enhanced with vibrant and detailed hand-coloring. Housed in a gold gilt frame. Measures approximately 21 1/2″ H x 16 1/2″ W. Some age-appropriate discoloration.
