Southern stoneware jug featuring a deep glaze and classic slightly curving form typical of traditional Southern utilitarian pottery. The vessel displays a simple cylindrical body tapering toward the neck with a warm surface character consistent with regional stoneware production. Measures approximately 12″ H x 6 5/8″ diameter. Missing applied handle and upper lip exhibits chips, with surface imperfections consistent with use and age.
