Oil on wood executed in a traditional icon style reminiscent of early Renaissance devotional paintings, with a gilt edge and round tondo form. The composition, similar to a Virgin and Child arrangement, features a mother and infant accompanied by a white cat, rendered in a red, green, and blue palette with smooth paint application and confident handling. Measures approximately 24″ diameter x 1″ D. Some separation to the wood with wear to the edges.
