Print titled Happy Mask Unhappy Boy in the distinctive “Big Eyes” style by Margaret Keane. The image depicts a young boy holding a clown mask, rendered with large expressive eyes and soft facial features characteristic of the artist’s well-known aesthetic. The print bears a printed signature for Keane and 1963 and includes a handwritten signature from Walter Keane with a dedication to Mr. and Mrs. Pepper. Also signed on reverse by Keane. For many years the works were attributed to Walter Keane before Margaret Keane was later publicly recognized as the true artist behind the iconic Big Eyes paintings and prints. Housed in a wood frame. Frame measures approximately 32 1/8″ H x 26″ W x 2″ D. Some creasing and wear to the print with general wear to the frame.
