Cal. 380 ACP. S# 103097. Bbl. 3 3/4". Model 1908 Hammerless semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1930. The left side of the slide is marked with Colt's 2-line mfg. and patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo, with "COLT AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS" marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the muzzle and chamber areas of the bbl., which are polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood grips. Fixed half-moon blade front sight and dovetailed square notch rear sight. Slide matches the frame via the full S# on the interior. MAGS: 1 dual-tone 7-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting patches/areas of wear and thinning fading to gray patina, with scattered superficial handling marks overall. Grip safety has mostly faded to a gray patina. Very bright bore, exhibiting a couple of small spots of light pitting as well as some apparent grease towards the breech, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show smoothing and some scattered handling marks, but otherwise remain sound. (25-6551/MLW). CURIO. $400-700.
