Cal. 380 Auto. S# 77849. Bbl. 3 3/4". Model 1908 Hammerless semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Colt in 1926. Left side of the slide is marked with Colt's 2-line mfg. and patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo, with "COLT AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS" marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the chamber area of the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered wood grips. Standard fixed half-moon blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Slide matches the frame on the interior in the rear well. MAGS: 1 original dual-tone 7-rd. mag. and 1 blued reproduction 7-rd. mag. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: generic brown leather soft case. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of light to mild wear and thinning fading to gray patina, scattered small dings and superficial handling marks, as well as scattered spots of light surface oxidation overall. Grip safety has faded to a brown patina, exhibiting patches of mild oxidation overall. Relatively bright bore, exhibiting consistent light pitting and scattered spots of mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show mild smoothing, as well as some scattered nicks and marks to the diamonds, but otherwise remain sound. (25-5624/MLW). CURIO. $500-700.
