A large pair of Murano art glass sculptures depicting a fisherman and a fisherwoman. Designed by Anzolo Fuga and produced by Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.Ve.M.) in the 1950s. Colorless, honey yellow, light green, opaque white, ruby red, light blue, and black glass. Freely formed and fused together, partially pinched and pulled with pliers and decorated with gold foil. The round base with fine crumb melt in green. A rare Murano art glass from the mid-20th century. Very good condition, the round base of the fisherman has a production-related crack (see pictures).height: 18.31 inches
