COLT FOURTH MODEL DERRINGER PISTOL.

Description

Cal. 22 S. S# 58976D. Bbl. 2 7/16". Fourth Model derringer pistol mfg. by Colt. Let side of the bbl. is marked with the cal. designation above Colt's mfg. information, with "-COLT-" marked across the top. Alloy frame exhibits a nickel plated finish, with the alloy bbl. exhibiting a browned appearance. Steel parts exhibit a blue finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece plain wood bird's head grips. Blade front sight. CONDITION: frame is excellent, showing some superficial handling marks overall. Bbl. exhibits scattered spots of light to mild wear and thinning that are fading to a dull gray patina. Bright bore, exhibiting a small patch of mild pitting towards the muzzle, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show a few superficial handling marks, but otherwise remain very good overall. (25-4290/MLW). CURIO. $200-300.
