19th C. Wrought by Matilda Schultz. Dated 1842. Upper half has six alphabets, including two Roman alphabets. Possibly Quaker. Lower half shows potted flowers, two birds, crown, pine tree, Morning Glory, bands of strawberries, vines, etc. Cranberry, light green, tan, brown, ivory silk floss on light linen. Probably Pennsylvania. Sight size: 16 1/4" high x 21 1/4" wide. In a contemporary ebonized burled frame under glass measuring: 19 1/2" high x 24 1/4" wide.Good condition. Shows some fading. Not removed from frame.
