Gilt bronze. Over 5/8" in height. Made by the open face mold technique. Iconic heart forms with broad double edges scrolling inward forming foliage in trefoil form. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold restored on a gilt neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
