Silvered bronze. Just under ¾” (0.72”) width. Broad heart form with central incised trefoil of especially elaborate and stylized configuration. High domed form with rounded edges. Made by the open mold technique. The heart symbol embodied the very Viking spirit. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver overlay restored, on an 18” sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
