Description: Antique French Acajou and Tulipwood Gilt Bronze Mounted Marble Top Commode in the Style of Paul-Charles SormaniAn exceptional antique French Acajou and Tulipwood gilt bronze mounted marble top commode in the style of Paul-Charles Sormani. The commode feature a serpentine fronted pink marble-top with a bow front, as well as two drawers with wreathed escutcheons and ring handles. The splayed cabriole legs have ram’s head chutes. It is attributed to Paul-Charles Sormani (1817-1866).Signed Wm. Baumgarten & Co. 1883 to 1914Piece is also tagged by shipper Goodrich Transit Milwaukee Dec 3, 1918Circa Late 19th CenturyDimensions:H 33"W 48"D 22"CONDITION:Please be aware that all items are used/vintage/antique and have small signs of age/patina which should be expected.
