Early 19th century wooden netsuke of a reclining wild boar with its snout turned up and its limbs tucked underneath its body. Dense fruitwood with beautiful texture, wonderful early carving with great sense of volume, beautiful wear and patina, very pleasant to the touch. Length 1.74 inches.
