Nancy B. Hildreth worked this, c.1803, very graphic sampler at age 9. Nancy (1794-1853) was the daughter of James (1746-1818) and Ester (Fletcher) Hildreth (1745-1826). She was born in Westford, MA and married Nathaniel S. Gilson in 1821, they had six children. Silk on linen; 20 ¼" x 16 ¾" sight.
