This poster features the 50-year celebration of chemist Albert Hofmann's first trip on LSD. The beautiful artwork was designed in 1993 by Fred Muller. While researching lysergic acid derivatives, Hofmann first synthesized LSD on November 16th, 1938. Hofmann decided to reexamine it on April 16t,h 1943, and he accidentally absorbed a small amount of the drug through his fingertips and discovered its powerful effects. "I perceived an uninterrupted stream of fantastic pictures, extraordinary shapes with intense kaleidoscopic play of colors".
