
This commemorative poster from 1993 honored the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival. The Monterey Pop Festival was one of the most pivotal musical events in history. The festival welcomed in the Summer of Love and featured the first U.S. performances by both Jimi Hendrix and The Who! This image was created collaboratively by all four of The Beatles during recording sessions for Sgt. Pepper's album. It was used as an ad to promote the festival, but was not the official concert poster for the event.
