Merwin Hulbert early large frame single action revolver chambered in .44-40 (Winchester 1873). The action does not function due to a broken mainspring; however, the cylinder indexes properly. The bird’s head grips have been replaced. The barrel is marked 2416 and shows a dark bore with pitting. The frame lanyard drop is marked serial number 4097. Approximately 10% finish remains.
