Ferdinand-Sigismond Bach dit Ferdinand Bac (1859-1952) is a French writer, designer, caricaturist, decorator, painter, ironworker, landscaper and lithographer. Ferdinand Bac is the origin of the Laubenheimer beer symbol: the swallow. The original design reveals a woman holding a mug of beer, the brewery in the background and a swallow in a red circle which will become the brewery icon.
