A mid 19th century Simon Willard type Presentation Banjo clock. 8-day time only movement with T-Bridge suspension and painted Iron dial with gold outer edge and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with inlaid edge banding and Eagle finial over a molded Brass dial door, tapered throat panel with Brass face screws and reverse painted glass flanked by unusual Brass side arms with Arrow design, lower door with a reverse painted glass marked "S. Reed, New York" above a gilded drop with fluted detail. Older finish with some wear, dial wear, cracks in throat glass, replaced hands and finial, running when cataloged. 39 1/4" high overall.
