Description

A Victorian marble-top side table, late 19th century, featuring a finely shaped serpentine-form white marble top with soft gray veining. The richly figured mahogany base displays a warm, lustrous finish and is supported by turned spindle legs joined by a shaped stretcher and scrolled supports. A decorative lower shelf with pierced and carved apron. 29 in. H, 30 in. W, 16 in. D

Condition

Good overall with age-appropriate wear. Marble top with minor surface wear and light edge abrasions; no major cracks observed. Base with light scuffs and finish wear consistent with use. Structurally sound.
