Provenance:
Reputedly presented to King Edward VII whilst staying at the Hotel Weimer in the Czech spa town of Mariánské Lázně, west of Prague. The brewery Esrte Pilsner Actien-Brauerei was founded in 1869. King Edward VII visited the hotel from 1897 and returned regularly for years.
Owned by the present vendor's family, who lived in the Czech Republic, and this and the previous lot, both were acquired from a relative.
