
A group of photographs and ephemera relating to legendary talent manager "Colonel" Tom Parker. All from the collection of Jerry Weintraub, who considered Parker both a friend and a mentor. The contents are as follows:
A letter handwritten in ink on stationery featuring an illustration of an elephant, reading, "To Jerry for his Birthday 1983, So you will always have something of me that no one else has. Fondly, The Colonel."
A certificate granting Weintraub "temporary membership" to the Snowmens League of America, Chief Potentate Col. Tom Parker, which features a charming illustration of a snowman and specifies that "This membership can be cancelled at any time by any Potentate Snower." A signature reading "Potentate Full Member" is signed on a line labelled "Lifetime Member ? Maybe?" Also included is a poster composed of a collage ? a photo each of Weintraub and the Colonel, signed to each other, next to two cutout photos of snowmen, reading above, "Chief Potentate & Assistant Potentate" and below, "Jerry, I gave you top billing. The Ol' Colonel," dated by hand June 26, 1987.
A black and white photo of Weintraub with Parker, displayed in a silver-tone frame with beige cloth matting. The photo is signed, "To Jerry with my best, The Colonel." Weintraub is wearing a distinctive outfit, including both a top hat and a graphic Elvis-decorated shirt. The original signed photograph is also included in this lot, as well as two small prints. There is a second framed black and white photo of the Colonel in close-up, which is decorated in the lower corners with two oval cutouts of Weintraub in the first photo. This second portrait is signed, " To Jerry on your birthday, To walk together makes every day a birthday. September 26, 1975, The Colonel."

A 1984 handwritten letter on lined paper from the Colonel to Weintraub, attached to a poem typed on decorative paper titled "To My Friend," by the Colonel himself.
Finally, a collection of items from the Colonel's memorial service, held January 25, 1997 at the Las Vegas Hilton: a program from the service, titled "In Tribute to 'Our Colonel;'" and a photograph of Weintraub delivering a eulogy for his friend at the service, along with a typed letter from the Colonel's wife Loanne, commemorating the event and thanking Weintraub for his words.
