Antique Persian Kashmar Archeology rug was hand knotted in Iran of 100% natural wool on a cotton foundation. This rug is 120+ years old, has medium to low wool piles and is in excellent condition for its age. This rug has knots per square inch in excess of 175+. Beautiful colors and made with excellent quality. No repairs, very soft and showing abrash (uneven fading) throughout the rug due to the use of antiquated vegetable dyes. There are several animals and ancient type vases woven into this rug. This rug came from an established rug merchant. Clean and ready to be enjoyed.
