Hennegen & Bates was a prominent 19th-century jewelry and retailing firm based in Baltimore, Maryland, known for retailing high-quality, often imported, tall case (grandfather) clocks. It has a silver and gold day/night face with Arabic numerals. Mahogany case has pillared corners and an arch top and is in VG condition. Has 5 gongs. Measures 87.5" tall, 21" wide, 13" deep.
