This is a collection of Zappa records that belonged to Ed Mann that he recorded percussion on, as well as some Mothers of Invention records he did not record on.
The records included in this lot include the first Zappa album Ed Mann appeared on Zappa in New York Live, which featured Mann on overdubs in a studio in 1977 after the gig (Ruth Underwood played on stage). Other Frank Zappa Records Ed recorded on included in this lot are Frank Zappa's Them or Us, Shut Up and Play Your Guitar Some More, You Are What You Is double LP (Promo Copy), Sheik Yerbouti, Joe's Garage Act I, Joe's Garage Act II and III, The Man from Utopia, Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch (Promo Copy), Tinseltown Rebellion, and Ed's Cal Arts affiliated experimental band Repercussion Unit's In Need Again.
Also included are Mothers of Invention's Freak Out, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention's Dupree's Paradise, and the Mothers of Invention's Tiny Nightmares.
