Description
EARLY MALLARD HEN, Mid-West, by an unknown carver, circa 1930s. Very good original paint and structural condition. Head dowel slightly raised. Some discoloration to seam where bottom board meets body. Dappled paint pattern to back with speculum detail. Upswept tail carving. Retains weight and rigging screw eye. Notation on underside: "Bill Miller 1937." Overall length is approximately 16 inches. 150-200
