Catalogue of the solo exhibition of Emilio Vedova (Venice 1919-2006), central figure of Italian Informalism and absolute protagonist of European art in the second half of the twentieth century. Published on the occasion of the exhibition at the Galleria Mariani in Ravenna in spring 1976, the catalogue presents a cover of great graphic impact with a black and white photograph of the artist in his Venetian studio, the name VEDOVA printed in vivid red. Square format, publisher's wrappers. Significant document of Vedova's exhibition activity in the 1970s, a period of intense experimentation with Plurimi and environmental installations. The Galleria Mariani represented a point of reference for contemporary art in Emilia-Romagna. Copy in good general condition with normal signs of use.
Condition
Cover with slight wear to edges and corners, minor signs of age on the photographic surface. Interior presumably in good condition. Wrappers solid, without evident tears.
