Ann-Margret portrayed "Ariel Truax" in the first film that boasted an all-star cast of Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, Burgess Meredith, Daryl Hannah, Kevin Pollack, Ossie Davis, and Buck Henry; she reprised her role two years later for the sequel which had the added cast member of Sophia Loren! The two comedies were run-away surprise hits, giving a boost to the careers of all these excellent veteran performers.
