Description

A piece made of wood; hinged lid with slot for money on top, side with hand-painted gold-tone text reading "For The Poor," lock above (though top part of it is now missing); used by Sinatra to store his garment brushes (two of which are housed inside); consigned directly by Lori Thompson, Sinatra's longtime secretary.
