Description

A group of two; both identical; comprising a dark brown glossy piece of paper with gold-tone text reading in part "Caesars Palace / Cordially Invites You" to celebrate the singer's "Fortieth Year / in / Show Business" [an event which took place at the famous Las Vegas hotel on December 12, 1979], adhered to a plastic slab with a small resin 3D figurine of Sinatra affixed to the left side; housed in its original gold metallic box with a related letter and RSVP card enclosed, label on box lid reads "Mrs. Paul W. Keyes" [Paul Keyes being a television producer who frequently worked with Sinatra]; the other invite is still wrapped up in gold-colored paper displaying an unused Caesars Palace mailing label; these elaborate invitations were only sent to the singer's inner-circle as this ?black tie? evening was quite exclusive; consigned directly by Lori Thompson, Sinatra's longtime secretary.
