Columbia Pictures, 1986. An original script from the production of Rob Reiner's classing coming of age film, signed in black felt-tip pen ink by stars Wil Wheaton (who inscribes the quote "Seven cents, Vern?"), Corey Feldman ("Peace / 26"), Kiefer Sutherland ("Ace"), Jerry O'Connell ("Vern" / "Cherry PEZ ? No question!"), Richard Dreyfuss ("The Writer"), and Frances Lee McCain ("Mrs. LaChance").

The script is in original Embassy Pictures studio wrappers and bears the film's original title, The Body (the same as the Stephen King novella on which the film is based). It is labeled "Revised / February 20, 1985 / Revised 3.4.85"), and is printed on blue and white revision pages.

Stand by Me celebrates the 40th anniversary of its theatrical release this year. Described by Rob Reiner as his favorite of the films he directed, as it was most personal to him.
