Verna Fields served as the Editor for the blockbuster classic Jaws (Universal, 1975), and won the Academy Award for Best Editing for her work on the film.
Inside the binder is a collection of various documents from the production the film. These documents include:
-A copy of an interoffice memo from Jim Elkin to Bob Faber on February 7, 1975 regarding sound effects notes for the film's trailer.
-A handwritten reel-to-footage breakdown labeled as "HORN ON JAWS."
-A typed three-page 14-reel scene description breakdown with handwritten notations throughout.
-Four copies of handwritten notes on lined paper regarding editing, reshoots, inserts, and other post-production items.
The majority of the pages inside the binder have been preserved in modern protective sleeves.
