Victorian Walnut Two-Door Bookcase

Description

A Victorian walnut bookcase, late 19th century, of tall rectangular form with a molded projecting cornice above two glazed doors, each with shaped arched upper molding and long glass panels. The case is flanked by carved pilaster supports with scrolled and shield-form ornament, with paneled sides and a beadboard plank back. The interior is fitted with adjustable shelves, above two lower drawers with carved shell pulls, raised on a molded plinth base. 85.5 in. H, 52 in. W, 19.5 in. D.
