Later an author and poet. Possible war-date, cryptic partial A.D.S. ‘Pike’ 1p. oblong 8vo., [n.p., n.d.]. On brown ‘adversity’ letterhead, in part: ‘…this is said answer continued material or necessary to be replied unto, and not herein and hereby well and [?] replied unto…is true, to the knowledge or behest of these repliants [?] wherefore they pray as in and by their said bill they ban already prayer…’.
