A Black Forest carving depicting a dog grouping. Attributed to Walter Mader, circa 1900. Hand colored attributes and inlaid glass eyes. Unsigned. Condition: overall light wear and some dings/age cracks to carved finish (consistent throughout), puppy on the far left has his rear right leg repaired in two places and has a loss to his tail, the middle puppy has both his rear left leg and tail repaired in two places, middle puppy also has a repair to the bottom pad of his right front foot, far right puppy has one repair to rear right leg and a loss to the tail, far right puppy also has his rear left leg repaired in two places, mother dog has a loss to the mid-section of leash attached to collar, see images or inquire for more details. Measures a total of 11" tall x 28" wide x approximately 16" deep. Shipping weight approx. 20 lbs. UPDATED 1/31/14: Changed "ST.
