Autograph Letter Signed "F LL W" to the Trucketeers (his apprentices) inviting them to join him out west; 8vo, written on single side on stationery of the Apache Hotel, including envelope with note and signature; light wear, creased at folds, a few stains not effecting the text, lower left corner torn with loss._______________________________________Wright's communities at Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin and Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona offered an opportunity to study architecture with the master himself.Every winter, beginning in the late 1920s, Wright and his apprentices crossed the desert in car and truck, camping out along the way, returned to their Wisconsin outpost the following spring. It appears that on this occasion, wright and his wife had travelled on ahead.Some wear, and with a torn bottom left corner and several minor brown stains, not affecting the text. An excellent example of Wright's characteristic, flamboyant hand.
