A Lionstone decanter modeled as a saloon bartender at his counter, mustache waxed and apron tied, a bottle in either hand. The red waistcoat and rolled sleeves are plainly and honestly painted, the sort of character piece that earns its place on a shelf. Stands approximately 12 inches, the base labeled Lionstone and the reverse plaque titled BARTENDER, 1844-1884. Heavy adhesive residue and staining run down the back where the strip was taken away, with attendant paint loss. See photos for exact size and condition.
