Description
Pair of 16" Model No. 101 Schoenhut dolls with carved heads. 1912 - 1916. Both dolls have the incised mark on back of torso, blue intaglio eyes, open/closed mouths showing teeth. No original clothing, they have both been redressed in antique clothing, socks. Doll 1) dressed in an aqua/white dress which is a traditional style for Schoenhut. Petticoat, pantaloons, oilcloth shoes. Doll 2) has a missing right lower arm. She has crack(s) on her back. Linen dress, 1 pc. undergarment. Vintage leather shoes. Overall condition: as stated. Both dolls have had major repaint on their heads. Paint loss on bodies. This lot is being sold AS IS. It has potential.
