Pair of 16" Schoenhut dolls. Doll 1) Girl - Model No. 101, produced only May to November 1911. Designed by Graziano. Doll 2) Boy - Model No. 203 made from 1911 - 1916. Both carved head dolls have the incised mark on back of torso, blue intaglio eyes, open/closed mouths showing (4) teeth. No original clothing, they have both been redressed in antique/vintage cotton outfits. Doll 1) dressed in white drop waist dress, petticoat, pantaloons, black oilcloth shoes. Condition: finger missing on right hand. Left leg has been "strung" into hip as metal piece is damaged. Doll 2) dressed in romper with matching hat. Vintage shoes. Condition: finger on left hand missing. Some body repaint. Overall condition: as stated. Both dolls have had major repaint on their heads. There may be paint loss on the bodies. This lot is being sold AS IS. It has potential.
