Description
Pair of 16" Model No. 102 Schoenhut dolls with carved heads. These are 1912 transition dolls. They have the incised mark on the back of the torso. They both have the carved braids with a blue bow on the back, blue intaglio eyes. No original clothing, they have both been redressed in antique cotton clothing, shoes. Doll 1) wearing the white dress, panties, oilcloth shoes. Condition: she appears to have NO repaint on her head, but the paint is worn. She has paint loss on her body, hands. Doll 2) wearing the pink dress, pantaloons, (1) leather shoe. Condition: she is missing her entire right leg. Heavy repaint on head. Paint loss on body, hands. This lot is being sold AS IS. It has potential.
