VINTAGE JERRY MEEK STONEWARE CERAMIC CALIFORNIA ART POTTERY VASE: Made in the tradition of Chinese, Han dynasty vessels with broad shoulders and three applied lug handles, incised signature on the base, c. 1960 - 1970, 10"h. Meeks is a professional studio potter whose work can be found in the permanent collection of the Oakland Museum of California, #2007.39.95. He was a student of Herbert Sanders at San Jose State University, California in the early 1960's. PROVENANCE: Directly from a second generation collection and estate inventory of distinguished world-wide collectors, travelers and esteemed New England Antique Dealers from Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
