Details: This lot consists of four antique leather wallets/billfolds.

-Small brown wallet unfolds to reveal expanding sections. Bears makers mark inside which reads "MADE BY COBB & SPARKS LANCASTER MASS." There is a simple box design pressed into each face of the wallet. Measurements are 4.25" W x 2.75" H x 0.75" D.
-Large brown wallet features a gently scalloped edge and nice diamond stitch design on outside tabs. It unfolds to reveal a compartment enclosed with leather flaps and one pocket. Two owners inscribed their names inside, one "JOHN BURNS, SKANEATELES, N.Y." and one "WILLIAM HILL. MARCH 22, 1845." While folded the measurements are 7.3" W x 3.5" H x 0.5" D.
-Black wallet features a scalloped edge, riveted belt loops on the back and a filial on the bottom. It unfolds to reveal three interior sections. Measurements are 6" W x 4.5" H x 0.75" D.
-Shiny cognac brown wallet features an angular scalloped edge and nice lines/false stitching design pressed into the leather throughout. It unfolds to reveal canvas and leather interior with several pockets and a compartment closed by leather flaps in the center. While folded the measurements are 7.6" W x 3.75" H x 0.5" D.

This lot is from the estate of a very well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York. Worth Auctions will feature scores of antique firearms, edged weapons, paintings, and unusual items over the next few months. A selection of post-1898 firearms by major manufacturers will also be featured.

Condition / Notes: These items are well preserved and show signs of normal period wear that may include flaking or cracking to the leather, loose or worn away stitching, patina, abrasions, rust and soiling. Overall they are in good condition with soft, supple leather.
