Details: This lot consists of an Authentic Civil War Era Gastric Enema Syringe kit in its original case. The Brass plunger measures 7 3/4" fully closed and opens to 10 1/2 inches in length. The kit also includes brass and steel tubing, nozzle and connector. The wooden case, measuring approximately 9 x 4 x 1.5, has the original velvet lining, although the embedded brass lock is not operational.
This lot is from the estate of a very well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York.
